Confederations Cup Coda
There’s no denying the U.S. Men’s National Team’s loss to Brazil in the Confederations Cup final is painful for U.S. soccer fans to digest. After all, the team was 20 minutes from its first-ever FIFA championship against the most storied national team squad of all time, before it gave in to a Brazilian onslaught that even the tournament’s best goalkeeper had no answer for. But now that we’ve had a night to deal with this humbling experience, it is time for the lessons that can be gleaned from the loss. We’ve also got player ratings.
